I got this chocolate cookie recipe from a friend and use it all the time. The cornflakes give a nice crunch to these moreish chocolate cookies.

Melt the butter until it is barely liquid, then remove from heat.
Add sugar, cocoa, vanilla and egg, and mix well with a fork. Measure the flour and cornflakes on top of mixture and stir with a spoon until evenly mixed.
Bake at 180 C / Gas 4 for 10-12 minutes.
