Oil sandwiches

A bread especially fragrant and loved by Italians ...

  • 450 gr white flour
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 15 gr of fresh yeast
  • 250 ml of warm water
  • 4 tablespoons oil and extra for greasing

Servings: -

Preparation time: less than 90 minutes


Dissolve the yeast in water, mix the flour with the salt and then pour the water and the yeast in the middle, knead for about ten minutes or until the dough becomes soft and elastic. Cover with an oiled foil and leave to rise for an hour in a warm place.

Divide the dough into 12 balls that you spread with a rolling pin one at a time and then roll lightly by hand until our rolls are formed.

Leave to rise for another 20 minutes (while the oven is heating to 200 degrees or stage 6 on gas. Bake for 15 minutes and then leave to cool. Enjoy!
