Because we are approaching the great feast of Easter, we are looking for recipes to please everyone, in addition to lamb dishes, there are other meat dishes (chicken, beef, pork, or fish).

So we thought we would present you some suggestions for appetizers that are made quickly and can be easily prepared for a festive meal:

The restaurant at home

The berry season has finally begun here as well. The first to appear are strawberries, blueberries and blackcurrants. Berries are our favorites, so I couldn't help but make something quick from the first fruits gathered. So, I thought I'd make a cake with blueberries and blackcurrants.

We need :
- 150 g flour, 80 g sugar, 2 eggs, 125 g yogurt, 50 g butter, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, 1 tablespoon vanilla extract, a teaspoon of salt, grated peel lemon, approx. 100 g blueberries and blackcurrants
- powdered sugar
- shape: 24x10x7

We prepare like this:
Eggs are mixed with yogurt, add sugar, vanilla extract, grated lemon peel and soft butter. It is homogenized. Sift the flour together with the baking powder, baking soda, salt and gradually add to the egg mixture.
The blueberries and currants are washed, carefully wiped with a kitchen towel and sprinkled with a little flour. Add to the dough and mix lightly with a spatula.
The composition is put in a form lined with baking paper.
Bake in the preheated oven at 180 degrees, for approx. 50 minutes.
Leave to cool and sprinkle powdered sugar on top.

For the fasting option, omit the bacon and sweet cream, and instead of chicken soup we put water or vegetable soup. You don't need a high speed blender because Chickpea cream soupit is delicious if it has the texture and you can feel the fragrant pieces of bacon or the crunchy pieces of chickpeas. Before putting everything in a blender, do not forget to set aside 2-3 tablespoons of the mixture for decoration.

Sure, croutons are optional, but hey what's a cream soup without 2-3 croutons? To prepare them, cut the bread into 1x1cm cubes. We place them in the tray, on baking paper.
